Michael Lasch, Managing Partner

A founder of Pine Street, Mike is actively involved in all activities, including deal sourcing, deal structuring and portfolio management. Mike currently serves as a board observer on Pine Street portfolio companies Mercantile Adjustment Bureau, Carthage Specialty Paperboard, and Power Tech, and is a board member on Pine Street portfolio company Rite Air Mechanical Services. He also serves as a board member and past President of the Upstate Venture Association of New York. Prior to co-founding Pine Street, Mike was a Director in FleetBoston Corporation's Leveraged Finance Group in Boston responsible for originating and structuring leveraged cash flow transactions for middle market companies. Before starting his banking career, he served as a congressional aide in Washington, DC. Mike earned his MBA from Emory University and his undergraduate degree from Holy Cross College. He is a 2007 recipient of the New York Capital District Business Review's "40 under 40" award and is active with several non-profit organizations in the Capital Region.

David Morris, Managing Partner

David joined Pine Street in mid 2008 and is involved with all activities at Pine Street. He currently serves as a board observer on Pine Street portfolio companies Scotia Technology and GenServe, Inc., and is a board member on Pine Street portfolio companies Jersey Precast Corp, Claris Vision, Net Direct Merchants, Tristan Medical, Summit Sports, and Artful Home.  Previously, he was a Managing Director at Citizens Capital, the mezzanine and private equity group for Citizens Financial Group, where he was responsible for deal flow generation, investment evaluation and execution, and portfolio management. Prior to Citizens Capital, David was a strategy consultant for Mainspring Communications. Before Mainspring, David worked for BankBoston in a middle market lending group and completed BankBoston's credit training program. He is a graduate of Babson College (BS) and the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College (MBA).

Tim Welles, Managing Partner

A founder of Pine Street, Tim is involved with all activities at Pine Street, including deal sourcing, deal structuring, portfolio management and administration. Tim currently serves as a board member on Pine Street portfolio companies Express Medical Transporters and SST Conveyor Components, and is a board observer on Pine Street portfolio company Wood Pro, Inc. He is also active as a board member of several other for profit and not for profit entities. Tim's career has included a variety of roles, including as Chief Operating Officer and board member of Colonial Data Technologies, a $75 million revenue publicly traded provider of telecommunications equipment; Chief Financial Officer of First Albany Companies Inc., a $250 million publicly traded investment banking and brokerage firm; and more than 10 years as a senior investment banker providing advice and capital raising services to small and middle market companies in various industries. Tim began his career as a corporate and securities attorney at Cahill Gordon & Reindel in New York City. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany and Albany Law School.

Anabelle Desangles Skalleberg, Senior Associate

Anabelle joined Pine Street in 2012 and is involved with deal flow generation, investment evaluation and execution, and portfolio management. Previously, Anabelle was an Assistant Vice President at Meketa Investment Group, an investment management consulting firm. While at Meketa, Anabelle was part of the Private Markets team responsible for researching private equity funds, leading diligence efforts on Latin American focused funds, and implementing the firm's business development efforts in the southeast and Latin American regions. Prior to Meketa, Anabelle was the Head of Finance and MIS for the Cards Business at Sovereign Bank/Banco Santander. Anabelle also worked at Grant Thornton in its Corporate Finance advisory practice. She is a graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (BA) and the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College (MBA).
